It's always the first Sunday in August.

If you go, it is at the Burton Cemetery right outside town. Don't neglect tasting the persimmon pudding a gal always brings. They put two tables together or is it three? It is loaded...groaning...with all kinds of wonderful food that people bring. When we attend, we usually stop at Kentucky Fried Chicken and bring some of that as we stay in motels and do not have access to making something for their potluck.

You have to attend AT LEAST ONCE!
