I'd like to know if anyone in Christian Co, has knowledge of a Benjamin Persinger, born about 1795 in Virginia who moved from Indiana by 1860 to Pana in Christian County and who died there about 1864. His wife, Martha and children were still at Pana on the 1870 & 80 censuses. Hoping someone can tell me who Benjamin's parents were or at least anything about his history. He married Martha 1843 at Perry County, Indiana where he was from 1820 but I believe Martha was his 2nd wife and that his first marriage was probably in Kentucky before 1820. - Appreciate any contacts about this family - Allan Griffith, Bloomington, IL - magrif@verizon.net
