Laird family

This message is in reply to Kim who is looking for her Laird family. Kim, you may
want to look around Pike County, Ill.
Yesterday, under old families I noticed a
'Laird' in Pike Co., Il.
Query: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilpike/
or: Pike County Il. Gen web
I believe this to be a biographical album page from the 1890's. You're going to have to contact that person in charge of the Laird
page. What leads me to believe this is from the bio album from the 1890's is that I noticed the surname Wintjen. Many years ago a researcher from Calhoun County, Ill. copied Andreas Wintjen bio page for me, and believe me it's a treasure for genealogy.
Hope this helps.
