Rev. David Wing, a Methodist Episcopal minister, resided in Belvidere in the 1840's and later.

His first wife was Jane Lobdell, who died on 23 Dec. 1843 or 1853. They had four children, but only one of them, Ann Elizabeth Wing, survived to adulthood and left descen- dants.

Rev. David Wing married on 13 September 1855. (2) Lorinda Richardson (born in Canada). This couple had five children: Jesse Otis Wing. Jane/"Jennie" Wing, Alonzo Joseph Wing, George Wing, and Persis Wing.

Seeking Jane Lobdell Wing's final resting place. Seeking date and place of Ann Elizabeth Wing's marriage to Mr. Eisenhart. Seeking proof of Jesse Otis Wing's birth on 6 September 1857 or 1858 in Belvidere. One source said he was born in Belvidere; another said Cherry Valley, Winnebago county.
