Looking for information on Chef, Restauranteur who lived in Bond Co. Illinois. He was born Arlan Guy Moore July 2, 1896 in Nodaway Missouri son of William P. Moore and Rebecca A. Castor. He was married first to Velma L in Missouri and they clerked in a store there after leaving Woods County OK in the 1930s. Then I lost the trail until today. A kind soul sent me an obituary.
He married Ann L. Royer in 1947 in St. Louis. They lived all over Bond Co. Reno, Woburn, Ayers, Beaver Creek, Dudleyville, Stubblefield, Wisetown and died in Greenville after moving there in 1974. He lived in a trailer court at the time of his death. His wife and her two sons with Royer names and a son William Moore who is listed as living in OK City but were all survivors in 1976.
Do you have any personal knowledge of this family and/or do you have documentation of these mentioned people?
I'd like to locate my cousin William, if he is alive. I'd like to determine if Arlan was married to Velma and if there was a divorce? I'd like to get a glimpse into who they were even if it is too far removed to know him. Our family was separated in the mid 1930s and I never knew this side of the family, even after I was born. No one talked about the 'ancient history' of days past.
