I'm wondering if there are the name SAVAGE in the book you refer to. Specifically, my great grandfather was Thomas Savage and his father was Martin Savage. I only know that Martin died in 1848 in Bond County. I do believe that he and Richard Savage, also of Bond County, were brothers.
