I am a TENNEY Family researcher and I believe I have your family courtesy of Cynthia Van Osdale.
Charles Ike, b. 1829 Seneca Co., NY married Eveline Schooley, September 20, 1853, Trumansburg, NY. She was born 1832, Seneca Co., NY. The 1860 Town of Ovid, NY, census shows Charles Ike, age 31, Carpenter, born Seneca Co. NY; Eveline, age 28, born Seneca Co.; Eva, age 4 (female), born Seneca Co.; and William, age 2, born Seneca Co. There is also listed a Nancy Schooley, age 52, head of household, born Seneca Co. I presume that would be Eveline's mother.
---Charles was hit by a train three years before he died.
Children:
1. Eva H. Ike, b. 1856 Seneca Co., NY married Hermon Wiggins.
2. William Ike, b. 1858 Seneca Co., NY; d. Abt. February 04, 1909 married Nellie Lucretia Tenney, July 04, 1883. She was born
August 12, 1864, Highland Twp., Oakland Co., MI; died March 14, 1897, MI. He married #2 Jennie L. Lamoreaux, June 23, 1907.
William's death notice was in the Feb 5 1909 issue of the Interlaken Review and notes that he died at home, "The Lamoreaux Place" on the road to Kidders (Town of Covert).
There is an obit (the 20 March 1897 issue of the Farmer Review) that shows that Mrs. William Ike (Nellie Lucretia), age 32, died Sunday afternoon near Scott's Corners (Town of Ovid). She was a native of Michigan, born in Oakland Co. Left 5 small children, the youngest only a few hours old. Buried Farmer. She is buried next to William.
Three of William and Nellie's children are Leroy Clarence Ike, Mabel Tenny "Mae" Ike, and Percy Heddon Ike.
3. Cora Elmira "Allie" Ike, b. February 18, 1863, Ovid Center, NY; d. February 05, 1930 married Marvin Wiggins.
