I am researching Ike family ancestors from Seneca Co., New York. Areas where they may have lived include Ovid, Interlaken, and Lodi, N.Y.
My great grandmother was Elmira (or Alice, or Allie) Ike, b. Feb. 18, 1863 in Ovid Center, N.Y., died Feb. 5, 1930. She married Marvin Wiggins, 1855-1944. Both are buried in Interlaken, Seneca Co., N.Y.
One researcher has suggested Elmira's parents may have been Charles Ike (1828-1901) and Evas Ike (b.1830).
Another researcher believes that Elmira's sister, Eva Ike, b. 1855, married Herman Wiggins, 1851-1918, brother of Marvin.
