In "Iams of America" compiled by Ralph Reynolds - page 272, Delilah Meek was the dt of Elisha Meek b. 1770 d. Oct 1843 and May Miller, and a sister of John Meek b. 1792 d. 1787 m. Elizabeth Boyd, Elizabeth Meek, Susannah Meek, Mary Meek, Nancy Meek and Jane Meek. The father of Elisha Meek b. 1770 was Nathan Meek b. 1735 Maryland m.? Barnes and settled in Ten Mile are when it was part of Virginia; a member of Capt. Farley's Company, who mustered out Nove. 2, 1781. I am not sure who gave the first name of Elisha as William.
