My application for the First Families of America was completed using 10 generations from my husband to William Iiams\Ijams. Sources included Harry Wright Newman, Anne Arundel Gentry, Vol. 1, 1970; Ten Mile Country & Its Pioneer Families, Howard L. Leckey; Iams of America, Edited by Ralph Reynolds, M.D.; Early Families of Southern Maryland, Vol. 1 by Elise Greenup Jourdan, Land records, Bible records marriage & birth records when available. I did not use any data from the below listed society.
