Jane Ijams, b 1813, Bedford, PA., were married Abt 1837,
New Lexington, Perry Co., Ohio.
Elzia & Ephriam had 7 children,
1. Elizabeth Jean Koons, b 1838, New Lextington, Bearfield Twp, Perry, OH.
2. Mary Ann Koons, b 1839, NL, Bearfield Twp, Perry, OH
3. Isaac Koons, b Abt 1841, NL, Bearfield Twp, Perry,OH
4. Jacob Koons. b 1846, NL, Bearfield Twp, Perry, OH
5. *Margaret Ann Koons, b 1849, NL, Bearfield, Perry, OH
6. Jane Koons, b 1850
7. Emily Koons, b 1856
*Margaret A Koons was my Great grandmother. She moved from Ohio to Kentucky lived a short time with her father's(Ephriam Koons), relatives. Shortly there after she married John *Slayback in 1867, Boone Co., KY.

*This census list's Eliza Jane's mother Elizabeth Ijams living with them.
Family Bible : States Mararet's parents as, Eliza Jane Ijams, b 1813, PA and Ephraim Koons, b 1811, PA, married 1837, Pery OH. Also mentions her sibings as listed above, and her grandparents as Elizabeth Ijams, b 1791 from PA, & I.Ijams. from PA. Does not list his birth.
.....was there another Isaac Ijams? Also states
grand parents as H. & E. Koons, married 1787 OH.
Found other info on "Family Search" Church of later
Day St's. Where it list's Eliza Jane Ijams parents as
Isaac Ijams, b 1790, PA and Elizabeth (no surname), b Abt 1794, PA. States they were married Abt 1812 Bedford, PA
Ephriam's parents were listed as, Henry (Koontz) Koons, b 1785, Fredrick, MD,
married Elizabeth Unknown, b 1787, Fredrick, MD. Says
they were married 1807 , Perry Co., Monroe, OH
*Slayback is my connection, John Slayback was my Mother's
Grandfather.
Now I am confused??? Who were the parent's of Henry
Koons?
