In the 1900 Census, Columbus, Colorado Co., TX page 52b, there is an "N. A. Ijams, female b. 1844 age 56, born in Texas. The month of her birth is not listed.
Listing with here are: James M. Welsh, nephew b. June 1848 age 51 in Mississippi, married 27 years; Mary L. Welsh, niece b. July 1852 age 47 born in Texas; Grandnieces Marg Welsh b. June 1882 ae 18 born in Tx and Leona B. Welsh b. June 1885 age 14 born in Texas. Mary indicates that she had four children with 2 living." Does anyone have the connection of this Welsh family to the Ijams family? Tried to find him in the 1880 census but was not able to do so.
