Roberta: Thanks for your informative response. Well, I think there was a marriage there involving a Lefever. I just can't pin it down. All of those surnames and given names seem connected to my Lefevers somehow. Perhaps a marriage to a widow or widower.
I have a Daniel Lefever, son of Elias in an 1837 will, Miami Co. Ohio he named Cyrus Harwood and Nathaniel Brown as Executors; His daughter Sarah married a Beck.
I am still missing the parents of Nimrod Duvallborn 1777? & his wife Rebecca Waters. Also, the mother of my Lefever clan; Elias Lefever born 1743, Resident of Frederick Co. married a Mary Salome born 1748/9, maiden name unknown.
One of the major candidates basd on age and location is a Mary Cheney. I will try for the book and hunt for "that marriage" Thanks
