Your knowledge of the Iams, Iiams, Ijams, Imes, genealogy is nothing short of extraordinary. I can not thank you enough for your quick reply and accurate information. I may have mentioned that his grave is located in the Iiams Family Cemetery a long Town Creek, south of Chaneysville, PA. His grave site is marked with an American flag on Memorial Day, or it use to be. I have not been back to that area for many years. But, at the very least someone or some organization remembers our past military veterans. Thanks again for your time and help. I have a few more questions about the Iiams’ of Mann Township, Bedford County, PA., which I will be posting shortly. Hoping your data base may have the answers.
