Austin married 18 Feb 1908 in Turner, Marion Co., Oregon to Elizabeth Katherine Hohl b. 3 Mar 1888 Benton Co., Oregon and d. 9 Feb 1954 Benton Co., Oregon. Buried at Crystal Lake Cem, Salem, Oregon. They had two children: 1] Edna Margaret Iiams b. 12 Feb 1918 Philomath, Benton Co., Oregon and d. 3 Feb 1981 at Castle, Sacramento Co., Calif. she married James Skrable. and 2] Meryl Austin Iiams. b. 1 Jan 1922 Corvallis, Benton Co., Oregon m. 24 Dec 1949 in Westerly, Rhode Island to Vera Garelow.
