I believe that we have corresponded before. I believe that I gave you the connection to John Iiams and Arina Worthington and you possibly contacted a gentleman in Georgia [Mr. Morris] When John Iiams died, the administrator was a Singleton Wootton. Unfortunately, Mr. Wootton expired before he could finish the task and Mr. Wootton's son, Richard, was made the administrator. Ariana Worthington Iiams died before her husband. There was never any data published as to John's heirs but the inventory of goods was and the sale was in Dec. 1787 in Prince Geroge's Couty. I believe that Marsh Duval signed for Vachel and Arinia Ijams as the nearest kin. This was the only record of any children. I believe that if someone were to take the article by Harry Wright Newman as to what John Frederick Iiams\Ijams swore to when he applied for a pension, i.e. map out the people who lived on the roads mentioned, a person just might come up with reasonable accurancy as to John's father. This probably does not answer your question but it might help.
