Marianne,

I am very interested in the Ihrie family. I have a Lake Ihrie, born 23 Dec 1814 in Eaton, Northampton, PA. This came from his obituary. His father is supposed to be John Ihrie, mother Ann Arnold. One of his descendants, Lucille Greaves mother left a handwritten chart of her ancestors. This is the source of information. There are four sisters, also. I have looked through the index of Ihrie (under all those spellings you mentioned), and have not found the births of Lake and his brother Fort. I got discouraged, and quit. I have not given up though! When I read that the Ihrie's ended up in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio, I perked up! Lake married in Delaware county in 1844, then again in Allen County in 1850, and ended up in Noble County, Indiana. He died there on Nov. 8, 1888. I know all these Ihries have got to be related somehow.
Let me know if you have ever seen these names.

Janice
