Daniel Igo's grave marker at Syracuse, Missouri, reads that he was born Aug 21, 1795. In a pension application made by his wife, Mary, 14 May 1878 (attest: Lewis Igo, Susan Igo), she states that Daniel was born August 21st, 1795; died August 6th, 1871. The marriage certificate of his parents Lewis Igou and Elizabeth Hare reads that they were married Apr 3, 1794. Although in a bounty land application declared 12 Nov 1850, he states his age to be 57; and in a pension application declared 10 May 1871, he states his age to be 77; I think the correct year of his birth is 1795.
