Robert BARNES' Baltimore Co. Families, 1659 - 1759, includes the ancestors of your Lewis IGO(U). The first Lewis IGO of Balto. Co., left will proved 14 Apr. 1760. His son Daniel had son Lewis who was b. 1767, Balto. Co. Lewis m1. 3 Apr. 1794, Elizabeth HARE (1770, Hare's Valley, Huntingdon Co., PA - 7 Dec. 1803, Ross Co., OH) d/o Jacob.

I thought the second wife was Juliann McKENZIE, but RootsWeb says the second wf. was Nancy MARSH, m. 17 Nov. 1805, Bracken Co., KY. Do you have proof?

In 1860, Ross Co., OH, there were William IGO, 50; Juley Ann, 44; Elisabeth, 21; Lewis M., 19; John M., 16; March {Maria in 1850}, 14; Patience, 13; Maryann {May A. in 1850}, 11; & Alace, 9.

Could we have confused Juley Ann, wf/o Wm., with the second wf/o Lewis? In 1850, there was Ann IGO, b. ca. 1770, on the Ross Co. census.

Lewis & Elizabeth had Daniel; Peter, b. 1797; Paul, b. 2 Feb. 1799; Mary, b. 1801; & Silas, b. 1803.

Daniel (21 Aug. 1793/4/5 - 6 Aug. 1871, Morgan Co., MO) m. 28 July 1825, Clermont Co., OH, Mary Ann TEVIS (8 July 1807/8 - 14 Dec. 1884, Morgan Co., MO) dau/o Rezin. On censuses, Daniel was 55 in 1850 & 75 in 1870, but he was 57 when he applied for a pension 13 Nov. 1850.

MD Calendar of Wills has the will of the first Lewis, indexed IGON: 2 Mar. 1760, 14 Apr. 1760. Wf. Mary, ch. Daniel, Peter, Wm., Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary, & Esther. Land: "Friend's Discovery." Coexs. Mary & Daniel. Wit. Chas. HOWARD, John MASH, Geo. BROMMEL.

Can you clarify this?
