Possibly the 1900 Census would help. If you can find a Green(e) of the right age, he should be with his father. Both Max and Dick sound like nicknames, and Max could stand for any name. Dick usually meant Richard. RootsWeb says Daniel IGO (b. ca. 1810, Morgan Co., KY, s/o Thomas IGO & Mary DAVIS) m. 15 Dec. 1830, Morgan Co., KY, Sarah HUGHES & had

Julia, b. ca. 1831
Dulcena, b. ca. 1833
Absolom, b. ca. 1834, 46 in 1880, Mt. Sterling, Montg. Co., KY, had Grunbury {sic}, 19.
Mary "Polly"
Ira
John T., 38 in 1880
Elizabeth
Daniel, 34, of Ridge, Menifee Co., KY, 1880
Richard, 32, of Ridge, 1880
Nancy, b. 1850.
