I'm still working on the Igo connection to my family since I just found out about it. The death certificate (State of Washington) of my great-great grandmother Bridget Wynn (married to William Ryan)lists her mother as Catherine Igo and her father as Patrick Wynn (both from Ireland).

I requested a death certificate for Catherine Wynn (maiden name Igo) from the State of Minnesota and I just received it recently. On her death certificate, her name is spelled "Katheryne" Wynne, married to Patrick Wynne and born on June 3, 1838 (I had 1832). It shows her parents as John Iagle and Margaret Ward, both from Ireland. It says that she is buried in Goodhue MN. The informant on the death certificate is Mrs. Agnes Kenney, and I don't have any idea how accurate death certificates like this are - I guess it depends on who's providing the information, which may just be second-hand info.

I guess that this doesn't match with Catherine's parents as being William Igo and Bridget Ward, but it's not necessarily correct info. Let me know what information you have regarding this and I'll let you know if I find anything else!
