I have a newspaper reprint of a journey by emigrant wagons from Mondovi, WI to WA in May-September 1878. It includes Gifford, Hunter, Christian, Eager and Ide families. The Ides are: Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Ide, Clarence, Ernest W., and George LaVergne. The article was with my great grandmother's family information. She was related to a another Ide family, that of Daniel B. Ide (born about 1832)son of Rev. Israel Ide. The families were probably related, but I'm not sure how.
I am looking for any information about the D.B. Ide family. They also moved from the Mondovi,WI area to the state of WA but at a later date. Daniel's wife was Charlotte Waste Ide born about 1838. They had four children: Charles, died in WI; Erwin died unmarried in WA; Alice (about 1870); and Clara (born about 1877). Alice married Howard Somers and Clara married Frank Jones.
