IDE FAMILY IN FOSTER, RHODE ISLAND

Looking for George W. Ide born about 1819 in Foster, RI, married to Maria or Mariah Hopkins on 19 July 1840. Children were Stephan, Oliver H., Martha J., James B., Abbie A., Fanny S. and Lillis. We know that Martha lived to adulthood and never married. Most of the children of this couple died young. We believe that Oliver Ide is the father of George W. Haven't any information on Maria/Mariah Hopkins...rumor has it she may have been an Indian orphan adopted or taken in by the Hopkins family. The Ide family is buried in the Foster Historical Cemetery #26. Any help out there will be appreciated. Thanks, Marilyn
