Thanks, Bob.

Have been compiling a genealogy/history regarding the MAY, BESORE, RUMMEL and SELL families who intermarried...Pamela's brother was Charles May, a doctor near and around St. Louis..Her name is listed as Pamelia Esther in Daniel's Bible, born 2nd July 1854 in Poland, Ohio.

I was hoping that Pamela had children as an update could been added to this printing.

Upon the death of Pamela's mother, her father, Daniel May, married Mary McKinley, a sibling to President McKinley, and is buried with her in Poland, Ohio, although when he passed he was married to my great grandmother Cynthia Kelty. Daniel kept a log of sales in his book/grocery/drug store for 30 years, and the going-ons of the Iddings and McKinley families. The'Daniel May' diary is housed at the Western Reserve. Her father was an early 'mover and shaker' and traveled to New York many times, also to Cleveland, Washington, down the Mississippi and to Indiana to buy land for friends and family...while Mrs. McKinley and her daughters kept the store. He notes that he paid for the education of William McKinley - both for the Poland Academy and obtained a bank loan for William's law school, after the Civil War.

Thank you. Miriam Reyburn-Steele
