Arabelle Iddings is my great great grandmother and I am seeking any information on her so I can continue on with my family history. The only information that I have is that she was born in 1844 in Princeton, Mercer, MO. I have been lead to believe that her parents were a Lafayette Iddings and a Nancy Heslep but the dates do not add up, I found where Lafayeet and Nancy were not married until Aug. 31, 1853 in Montgomery, VA, this was 9 years after the birth of Arabelle plus Lafayette would have only been 16 when Arabelle was born and Nancy would have been 12. Anyone have any information that can clear this matter up? I appreciate any responses.
