No worry Bill. the book is a limited edition to the Iddings only.
You may want to look into the book "English Place Names, by Oxgorf Press. It has much information to help with identifying the origin of names. The name Eddings may have its origin (although I doubt it) form Eddisbury in Cheshire. If you can find the Domesday Books they may also give you some leds.
I believe I looked it up at one time, but I have long forgotten. That's what the age of eighty does to one.
