Christina---Sorry I can't be of much more factual information about Mabel. I can only relay that she and Carl Laws were very active in the horse show circuit in western Ohio and eastern Indiana in the 1950's. So much so that they won a gold-plated saddle with a horse named Judy during that period. I believe that they were involved in the quarter horse discipline of the shows. They also owned and operated a small restaurant in Findlay, OH which was known as the Coffee Cup. Unfortunately, the family was not close enough to provide me with many other memories. I know of no family bible or other like memorabilia that might help you in your search.
Best wishes to you and your family during this special season.-------Phil
