Mike Thanks for the reply. I just remembered I went to school with a John Roberts in Pinehurst, Shoshone County, Idaho -- three miles west from Smelterville. He may have been a year older than I, but he was in my class from 6th grade on. (I was in 6th grade in 1965-1966.) I graduated in 1972, from Kellogg High School-- four miles east of Smelterville. I can't remember if he was there all through school -- he may have quit early and gone to work in the mines. I don't have my yearbook handy or I would check. Chances are, that if John was born in the area it would have been 1952-1953 at the Wardner hospital in Kellogg. (No longer there.) Oh, yea, he had a sister named Melba --with a "b" who was a year or so younger than I. She married a pharmacist named Ed --can't remember last name --who had a drugstore "Ed's Rexall" on McKinley Ave. in Kellogg. They closed down either in the late 70's -- 80's (?) due to business slow down at the mines. The last time I remember talking to Melba was in 1977 or '78. But it may have been later. These Roberts' may be grandchildren or great-grandchildren of your Roberts. Hope this helps. Sandie
