My great grandfather Frank Claudius Frodsham aka Claudies married Laura Bell Benson in Oneida Co., ID in 1893. There were a number of deeds and such and transfers of property under the name of Claudies.
Frank Claudies Frodshams father was Edward Frodsham and Edwards father was James Frodsham who with his 3rd wife Amelia were among the 1st in Oneida Co.
James was a Mormon and the family settled in Utah. Apparently James married 3 times and we believe that Edward Frodsham was the only son of the 1st marriage. There are a number of other Frodshams in Idaho at the same time and we think these were all half sisters and half brothers.
Does anyone know if Frank Claudies or Claudies married a Susan Hanson prior to his marriage to Laura Bell Benson?
Any information about Edward would be apreciated and we have a lot of information on Frodshams in ID if anyone is interested.
Ours ended up in Lincoln Co. and then moved to MT
Frank Claudius' death record said he was a veteran and a State Senator. I see he signed up for the draft during WW1, but I can find no record of him having been a State Senator.
Does anyone have this information? or know where I could get it?
Frank, Jr. was killed in France during WW1 and Frank Claudius Sr. was buried in Richfield ID in the Richfield Cemetary 21 OCT 1923 (he died the 19th). Block 19 Lot 5.
Laura Bell Benson died in Baker Co., OR in 1903.
