Where to research in Lewiston???

will be in Lewiston the first part of September. I have most of the book and page numbers for marriages but need to do other research as well.

Any recommendations? Is there a good genealogy cornor at the library? Or is the courthouse the best place?

Looking for information on James R Doyle b 1841 Ireland d after 1910; his wife Mae unknown. I really would like to know more about them and possibly a death date and where buried.
