Would like to connect with any descendants of David Hewitt,born circa 1830 in Athens Co., Ohio or Indiana, died 1860 in Clark Co., Missouri. Married to Mary Black, born 1831 Athens Co., Ohio, died 1915 in Cameron, Idaho.
Their children (known from census) were
Elbert, born 1855 in Missouri,
Amanda, born 1856 in Missouri,
John Andrew born 1858, died 1947 in Nez Perce Co., Idaho and
William born 1860 in Missouri and died 1937 probably in Idaho.
John Andrew married Julietta Sheets in 1880 and
William married Henrietta Sheets in 1882 in Clark Co., Missouri.
Mary Black was my great grand aunt.
