Hi -- We are looking for information about any of these families.

James SHAW was b. abt. 1856 Wisconsin, but eventually lived in Nez Perce County by the 1880's or 1890's. Family history handed down says he ran away from home at an early age, but we don't know if that family was in Wisconsin or already in Idaho. He also may have lived in Whitman Co. WA for a time.

James SHAW was married to Clara HARRINGTON b. abt 1873 CA. He was abt 32 when he married her - where was he before that? Their first child was Franklin Edward SHAW b. 1889 in Colton, WA.

Franklin Edward SHAW married Bess Louise GIFFORD (b.1891)dau. of Charles L. GIFFORD and Mary Louise Sperry, of Lewiston, Idaho.
