WILBERT SCALES
NAMPAServices for Wilbert Scales, 85, of 472 Caldwell Blvd, who died Tuesday at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2PM, Friday, at Shepard Chapel by the Rev. Harold V Myers of Grace Episcopal Church.Interment will be at Kohlerlawn Cemetery with graveside services under direction of War Eagle Barracks, 459, Veteran of WWI.
Mr. Scales was born June 20, 1882 in Silver City a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Scales. He was a veteran of WWI and a former member of War Eagle Barracks, veterans of WWI, Nampa.
He has no known survivors.All members of War Eagle Barracks are asked to attend and wear their caps.
His father was John Scales, born Ireland, mother Mary E Crowell born Maine and he had one brother, Henry C Scales.
Mr & Mrs. John Scales moved to Hollywood, CA where he died in 1910.She returned to Nampa to keep house for her sons.
While visiting in Boise she got pneumonia and died in January of 1911, age about 59.Her body was shipped to CA.
