b 4/16/1894 at Hartsville IN, moved to CA in 1906. Came to Nampa in 1917 and married Effie Elmira Moore 9/30/1922 in Nampa. He graduated from NW Nazarene College in 1926, taught math and science in public high schools and at the college. He later had a roofing business until his retirement.
