I am trying to find documentation of the parents of George W. White. I believe that he was born in 1827 in Little Falls, Herkimer, New York. He passed away in 1902 in Boise, Ada, Idaho.
I have Federal Census Records from 1870, 1880, and 1900. I also have a New York Census Record from 1960. His obituary states that he has 12 children; eight of them are with his second wife, my 2nd great-grandmother. Four of his children at that time were still residing in New York. I do not know who his first wife was, or his children. I am hoping to find them as well as his parents.
Some of my family members have pictures of his father and his common law wife. They say his father was Edwin P. White and his mother was Elizabeth. I cannot find actual records to support this. He was supposed to be from Rhode Island and born about 1800.

Idaho Statesman 7/20/1902 George W. White died yesterday at noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Monday, 1811 N. 14st St, after an illness of 3 months. The deceased was 75 years old.Mr. White was one of the pioneers of Idaho, having located in Boise basin in the spring of 1863. He has lived in the southern part of the state almost continuously since. He was born in Little Falls, Herkimer County, NY, 4/4/1827.A wife and 12 children are left to mourn the demise, 8 of whom live in Idaho. They are Edwin L, Isabelle, George C, Fannie, Walter, Warren, and Robin White, and Mrs. J. W. Monday. The other children are living in New York state.The funersl services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence, 1120 Bannock St. The remains will be interred in Morris Hill cemetery.
