Mrs. Rebecca Watkins--In Boise Valley, Friday, 11/7, at 8 o'clock pm, Mrs. Rebecca Watkins, beloved wife of S. S. Watkins, aged 70y 5m 19d. Mrs. Watkins came with her husband to Boise in 1864 and located in this city where the family has continued to reside until August last, when Mr. Watkins purchased a farm about 7 miles south of Boise, so that they could be near their daughter, Mrs. G. F. Rhodes. Mrs. Watkins was a Christian lady of noble impulses and leaves 3 daughters and 2 sons beside grandchildren to mourn her loss. Mrs. George White, Mrs. Joe Benham, and Mrs. Rhodes were at the bedside of their mother when the call came.

At his residence down the valley yesterday afternoon, S. S. Watkins, age 84. The deceased was one of the oldest settlers in the valley. The remains will be interred in Dry Creek Cemetery today.

In 1878 it was reported that George W. White had diptheria twice.

George W. White died yesterday at noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Monday, 1811 N. 14st St, after an illness of 3 months. The deceased was 75 years old.
Mr. White was one of the pioneers of Idaho, having located in Boise basin in the spring of 1863. He has lived in the southern part of the state almost continuously since. He was born in Little Falls, Herkimer County, NY, 4/4/1827.
A wife and 12 children are left to mourn the demise, 8 of whom live in Idaho. They are Edwin L, Isabelle, George C, Fannie, Walter, Warren, and Robin White, and Mrs. J. W. Monday. The other children are living in New York state.
The funersl services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence, 1120 Bannock St. The remains will be interred in Morris Hill cemetery.

WHITE- Mary Allen White, aged 59 years, died yesterday afternoon at her residence, 1120 E. Bannock St. She was born 10/22/1847 in Wheeling, WV, and came across the plains in a prairie schooner to Boise in 1864. She has lived here nearly continuously since. She was married to George W. White in January 1865, and raised a family of 5 sons and 3 daughters. All but one son survives her and are now living in Boise....
