Could this be your Anders Bloomquist

Andrew Bloomquist was born 28 Feb. 1828 in Sweden. He married Maria
Josephina Jonsdotter on 19 Dec. 1863. in Odeshog, Ostergotland, Sweden.
They had their first 2 children in Stor Aby, Sweden. Andrew came from
Sweden to America in 1869. He entered America in New York. On 21 April
1876 Josephina and her 2 children left Sweden for America and she stated
that her destination was Hopeston, Ill. On 19 February 1877 their third
child was born in Paxton (according to Bible record), Ill. Nothing more
is known of Andrew and family stories say he "just disappeared".
I would like to hear from any of his descendants or any one who has an
idea of how go about searching for a man who disappeared from Illinois
about that time area, other than census, death records or court records.
I think we have driven all the county clerks in Ill and Ind. Any and all
help will be gratefully appreciated.
