If Alexander came to America in 1920, and Minnie came in 1910, they weren't married in 1916, as stated in the 1930 census. Immigration records show a Minnie Boggs, born about 1892, arrived in New York in 1914. There is also a Minnie Boggs, born about 1892 in Ireland, single and living in Brooklyn, NY in 1920, and that may be her. There is a good possibility they were married in New York. It's unlikely she traveled to Idaho alone. I know of no website to search New York marriages without expense. If you already have newspaper obituaries for both, I would suggest checking with an LDS family history center first. Go to www.familysearch.org and click on FamilySearch Centers to find the nearest one. There are several in Ireland.
