Unfortunately, I have no real proof Myron Sheldon was born in Vermont, other than records of other family members. I have looked at Myron's from other New England areas but so far none fit.

That 1910 Census record you pointed me to gave me an approximate timeframe for my great-grandparents, Fred and Bertha's, marriage.

Laurinda Mercy Thompson Sheldon was called "Mercy" by family and friends. As I have found other errors in census records, I suppose it is possible that she was listed as "Martha."

You have provided me with a wealth of information and new paths to follow. Thank you very much. Liz
