Dixie, start checking out the historical info on the Vileneuve House in Star/Eagle area of Ada County...
This will give you a start. It is on the National Register of Historic houses. It is a quaint Queen Anne style.
Then look for Nick Villeneuve, the cartoonist, this is your family also.
The Villeneuves are resting at Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
I did those families personal history for a special reason some years ago. Unfortunately, I am working on a very time sensitive project right at the moment so I can not give more details today.
