Looking for descendants of Melvin Hamilton, b. 1861 in Knozville, Iowa, d. 1921, Kamiah Idaho. His wife Nora 'Atkinson' Hamilton, b. 1860, Warrensburg, Missouri, d. 1937, Kamiah Idaho. This couple was married in 1897 at Warrensburg and came to the Kamiah Valley in 1902.
They had two sons, the eldest died in infancy and the youngest, William, survived and was in Collage at the University of Idaho when his Father died in 1921. By the time his mother died in 1937 William had a wife and four children.
The Kamiah Cemetery Board wishes to find descendants of this family to ascertain status of two grave plots that the Hamiltons bought 88 years ago and never used.
