The Rev. Howard Bailey officiated and interment was at Hillcrest in Weiser. Mr. Haynes was born Feb. 4, 1890, at Uma, Va., the son of Nannie and William Haynes. He served in the Army during World War I and he and his brother operated a farm and raised sheep at Midvale for many years. He later moved to Oklahoma. He was married in 1938 to Gertrude Derrick at Madill, Okla., where the couple farmed for many years. They came to Idaho in 1949, moving to Payette in 1958, where Mr. Haynes retired. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Haynes, Payette; and several nieces and nephews.
