Jean: thank you so much for the info on my grandfather. I was a little confused about who his mother was. It says half brother of Earl was Rufus G. died Aug 1940 in L A he was born 20 Aug 1898 in Utah, mother's maiden name was Atwood but it also says that Rufus G., Aug. 1899 9/12; UT CT NY was Earls mothers maiden name Atwood or was he Ada Barbers son, and which birth date is the correct one for Rufus? Thanks so much for your help. This is the first little clue we have had about Grandpa Evans and we are very grateful for it.
