Staff, volunteers, and interns at the Idaho State Historical Society Library and Archives have been working on a "reconstructed" 1890 Idaho census with names compiled from a variety of government records, local newspapers, and national genealogical publications. Eleven of sixteen counties that existed in 1890 are now represented in the index. To view the index, go to:
