Steve Rupp

Steve Rupp, 55, of Moscow died on Nov. 26, 2007, after a courageous battle with lymphoma, at the University of Washington Medical Center. Steve was born on Oct. 6, 1952, in Quincy, IL, to Frank and Katherine Rupp.

Steve graduated from the University of Illinois in 1974. He married Deborah Poole on May 20, 1976. For the past six years Steve was employed at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories as an engineering manager. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Rupp.

Steve is survived by his wife, Deb of Moscow; a son, Justin of Austin, TX; a daughter, Kristen of Portland, OR; his mother, Katherine Rupp, a sister, Marge Klingele, a sister, Mary Kay Farwell, all of Quincy IL, and a sister, Barbara Rupp, SSND, of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has occurred and a memorial wake was conducted Monday Dec. 10 at the Schweitzer Event Center from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Many joined us in a celebration of Steve's life.

Another memorial service was conducted on Dec. 4 in Quincy, IL. Memorial donations may be made out to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in care of Deb Rupp. Condolences can also be sent by e-mail to
