DIX SUCCUMBS; ILL SHORT TIME

T. S. Dix, 72, died this morning at the family home, 102 Hastings Avenue, following a short illness.

Born in Indiana, he came to Coeur d' Alene in 1928 and lived at Nettleton Gulch for several years. He was a retired business man.

Surviving him are his widow, Lenore, six stepdaughters, Mrs. Ray Dakin and Mrs. Miles South of Coeur d' Alene; Mrs. Gretchen Manlow of Fort Steilacoom, Wash.; Mrs. Frank Lilly of Cusick, Wash., Mrs. W. H. Covington, of Rexburg, Ida., and Mrs. Bert (?) of Cheney, Wash, and two sisters in Texas and Oklahoma.

The body is at the Cassedy Funeral Home.

RITES SUNDAY:

Funeral services will be held from the Cassedy Funeral home at 1 o'clock Saturday for T. S. Dix, 72, who passed away Tuesday in this city. Interment will be in Riverside Park Cemetary at Spokane. The Rev. F. H. Thompson will officiate.
