DEATH TAKES MRS. LULU E GRAUE
Mrs. Lulu Ellen Graue, Coeur d' Alene resident since 1918 and long active in church and other organizations.died last night at a local hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Graue was the wife of Clarence O. Graue, retired manager of the Rutledge unit, PFI. The family home is at 513 W Lakeshore Drive.
The former Lulu Ellen Carey was born in Carthage, ILL., and she and Mr. Graue were married at Duluth, Minn., Feb. 2, 1918, moving to Coeur d' Alene the same year.
Mrs. Graue was the first president of the Coeur d' Alene chapter of the American Association of University Women. Also she was a member of the First United Presbyterian church, a church circle, the Tuberculosis association and the PEO.
Survivors are her widower, at the home, a son, Phillip C., LaGrand, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Ellen) Ferris, Spokane and six grandchildren.
