Jim the only thing I could find on Gilbert C Walker was he was born about 1890 in Bloomfield Ne...about 4 years earlier than Magdalena . If you refer to rootsweb.com, then go to the world connect, and enter Hertert as a surname you can find what info I have accumalated of the Herterts family and my relations to them. I have no information down on Magdalena or your family. Presently researching in Luxembourg on family. Also think a Marie Leahy born about 1900 married Victor Hertert. am still trying to verify that with her relatives, and their info.
