I am looking for the parents of or any information concerning Gabriel Martin.Wife's name was Catharine Best.
Gabriel was born between 1818-1826,in Pennsylvainia.
In 1860 and 1870 they lived in Minnesota,In 1880 they lived in Nebraska,In 1890 they lived in Idaho.
I have been told they both died somewhere along the Idaho/Oregon border,around 1895.If so I would like to find out where they were buried.
I have recieved some information that Gabriel's Parents were David and Catharine Martin,but I have not been able to confirm this as yet.
I have 7 of Gabriel's childrens names,but I am told there are more.
I also recieved information that Gabriel had another wife before Catharine,and that her name was Elizabeth,but I have not been able to confirm that either.
One of Gabriel's sons named Frank settled in Baker,Oregon.
Another son,Wilson settled in Lewis and Latah counties in Idaho.
If anyone knows anything or could help please let me know,it would be deeply appreaciated.
