Seeking, if possible, obituary or further information on the following reference from Family search. ...
Death Date [25 October 1886] of Charles Drew is sealed by LDS at Idaho, Bonneville, Idaho Falls - Church records.
I am trying to confirm or eliminate the possibility that this is the same Charles S. Drew [C. S. Drew] who served as a major and then Lt. Col of Oregon Volunteer Cavalry 1861-64.
He also led an expedition into the Owyhee region in 1864.
